I was eleven years old and in Coventry we had the trams blown up. Buses were sent from London , Manchester , Southend. They were painted grey so that they couldn’t be seen from the air. British ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Stores was made into a church. Marks&Spencer's moved to Brandish’s car show room.
