My father was always telling me stories about living on a tank in the desert as a Desert rat under Monty . A short one to start off but one which interested me was that they would cook eggs on the tank itself . They were so hot that you could break a egg and cook it quickley by just breaking in on any panel which was flat and cleanish ? . Sounded ok actually , but was probably the reason for my fathers ulcer in later life i think . Its just a very simple example of a war experience . So when you moan about your eggs think again ? .These fellas were tough .
