One evening during the war my Mother went into the outside toilet, only to find an Airman sleeping there! He awoke and started talking in a foreign language. Quickly my Mother shut the door and shouted for my Grandfather to fetch the police as she'd caught a German!
On further investigation it turned out to be a Polish airman stationed at RAF Honington, who had a bit too much to drink and climbed over the wall from the pub next door!
