Proposed defence scheme for Cambridge Castle

Drawn up as a secret document in April 1942, this plan illustrates how a last line of defence could have been constructed on the high ground north of Cambridge city centre.
The plan was 'found in a basement' at Shire Hall in 1955 and forms part of the Cambridgeshire County Council archive at County Record Office Cambridge.
