My aunty lived in Norwood, London. Had two sons in the RAF. It was her birthday and she received two telegrams. She explained to the telegram boy that it was her birthday and she thought the telegrams were from her two sons. The telegram boy looked at aunty blankly. She opened the first one which stated that her son Ian was missing. She then opened the second one which confirmed that he had died.
