On the Lido, Italy

The photograph shows Jack Evans, "Coogie" as he was better known, taking a well-earned rest on the beach in Italy.

He served in the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers (REME) and was based in Italy from 1945 - 1948.

I, Becky Barugh (of the ѿý Radio Shropshire Action Desk) have added this photograph to the ѿý People's War site on my own behalf. I fully understand the site's terms and conditions.
