The picture is submitted by George Moss who is included in the photograph, aged 4, with his sister Iris and Father Bill Moss.

The picture is taken during the V.E. Street party attended by the residents of North and South Birkbeck Roads in Leytonstone, London.

At the time George lived at Number 156 South Birkbeck Road.
