My father worked in Battersea Power Station during the war.

I was working on the land in 1930 until 1946. When he went into the army he served five years in France and Germany. He remembers all the bombing in London until they moved out of London.
I also remember the fights between us and the “brown-shirts”

My parents were bombed out in 1942 they then moved to Bedfordshire until the end of the war.
