My lasting Memory of World War II is…being out of our houses with the Christmas Blitz. We were in our church hall, for four days. As I attended the church when food was brought in I was roped in to help. Christmas day they forgot to save some dinner for me and when everyone had been served I asked for mine and there were just some baked beans…Ho Ho Ho…Merry Christmas.
