It was a Sunday afternoon ,when a lone enemy plane came over Wood Green it banked and came straight above Turnpike Lane and flew in the direction of Alexandra Palace all the time fireing its guns it turned over Tottenham Lane and fired at the railway hiting houses and the firestaion it then banked and flew over Hornsey High St over Campsbourne rd which is where I lived I and my sisters were pushed into a coalcelar in the house until it was safe to come out. I believe it was shot down as it crossed the channel
