One day - I was evacuated when I was 11. There were concrete floors I was miserable. My brother and sister went to another place. I was evacuated for 3 years. There was a dyke near the house and there were rats in the water, we used to play in it. I came back when I was 14. When we came back to St.Ann's we were bombed. I started working at Turnbulls and made night-dresses.
