I worked for the ISRB; a research bureau. I was a secretary at Baker Street, living on my own near by. I remember bombs falling and buildings collapsing. One of my jobs was to send out under cover spies. Colonel Buckmaster was my boss.
I met and married my husband during the war; he was a colonel doctor in the RANC. We married quickly as he was being sent out to India.
