I remember that mt dad talked about planes colliding above our farm when I was born in 1939.

We had an air raid shelter, and Mum would grab me and take me downstairs when an air raid ciren went off. I still remember that sound today.

Dad won two Victory Churn awards durind the war, in recognition for his loyal work for the country in a time of need. The milk produced on the farm averaged two gallans per cow per day.
