First trained in Glasgow Western Infirmary and Maternity Hospital, Govan, Glasgow. Joined Princess Mary's RAF nursing service in 1943 for 42 years. Did mobile Field Hospital in Germany and then 8th RAF Hospital. In Germany doing midwifery as necessary when wives started to come over. Very good spirit in working conditions.
