This Picture was submitted to the Peoples War Site by volunteer John C Haywood ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Lincolnshire Action Desk on behalf of Mr Harry Winning, and has been added to the site with his permission. Mr Winning fully understands the site terms and conditions.

A ceremony was held aboard HMS Poebe and a presentation was made to the C in C of the Mediterranean fleet of a cheque from the New Zealand public in recognition of the work done in the rescue of their forces during the evacuation of Greece and Crete.
