The new year`s come, the old one`s gone.
No stars I see have brighter shone;
no truer hearts than here before,
and I, uncertain. am still not sure.
Not sure of you, the night , the day;
all further now than faraway.
Let Millers song. sweet pulsing tone,
leave one so happy here alone
to drink the darkness with the wine;
but eyes are here . They sleep with mine.
