This story was submitted to the People's War web-site by Heather McGrouther a volunteer from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry & Warwickshire on behalf of Chris Polley and has been added with his permission. The author fully understands the sites term and conditions.

This was a story told to me by my Grandfather. He was a dentist in Torquay and he had a dental technician called Cecil Yarwood who worked with him. One day he was sitting on an ouside lavatory when a bomb exploded nearby and blew him off!!!
