This is short story of my dads time during the war . He was a docker in the local docks but some of the time he was a steel erector, Ipswich was very lucky regards bombing of the dock we only had one bomb near the docks I think , but my uncle told me that jerry did machine gun the gas-ometers,but often wonder what he built on River Orwell at a village called Wolvestone , I know he was working with concrete so I wonder if they were building Mulberry harbour sections any one out know if I am guessing right, maryjohn
