Whilst watching the coverage on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ about world war 2 there is a big part of the events which is missing. Nothing has ever been mentioned about the mothers who had to watch as their children were sent away for safely. My mother was heartbroken watching us go away for 6 years - she never did get over the time spent away from us. it damaged our parent/child relationship for ever, the time apart could never be regained. I know it was to keep us safe but our parents really did suffer, I know my mother did and I'm sure others did also. This part of the hear break of war has never been touched upon, I feel it needs to be mentioned. Thank you
