This story was submitted to the Peoples War story by Habi Rahman. Two and a half years in the Mediterranean on the shore stations, he was returned home after VE day, then he was sent to Northern Ireland to the party of Coders to take over a signals station in the Royal Navel air station. This was to enable the women’s royal air force to go to other stations, and so the RENs were not required as they were doing the job.
