I was sent down, by the shipping pool then with orders to join the above ship at Middlesbrough Docks, And First to signs Articals, 27-4-44 Orders were, to turn to next day at 0400hrs,to raise Steam, and getting the Ship ready for sea, that afternoon, At the Shipping office another ship was signing a crew on, which was the same type of Ship, A liberty Ship and the same type of cargo,Ammunitions.
