I have written a book, primarily for my grandsons, outlining my time during the war, from conscription to meeting my wife in Belgium
whilst posted in Mechelen. Includes stories of
our postings in Belgium, and how we used to use the Bathhouse in Mechelen. I taught myself at the age of 78 to use a computer, I have illustrated by book, and had it bound just to give out to family members. If there is any interest in the story I could send out a copy.
