My mame is Lauren Buglass from Marden High School North shields Tyne and wear.
This is the poem i found in my great granda's scrapbook that was his favourite.

Arnhem! Arhnem! Arhnem!
Who can of thy epio tell?
None, but just a very few
Coming back from Arhnem's hell.

So full of life they left these fields
And into the skies they soared.
Whwn reaching Holland's fairest city,
Out,in their hundereds,poured

Arhenem! Arhenem! Arhnem!
Dis you see them as they fell?
Did you hear a truimphant cry
As they dropped, right to hell?

Drenched by bullets, shell and mortar
Never was such courage displayed
With gaping wounds and shattered limbs
Hellish was the price they paid.

Tell me, i Arhmen! Did you see them?
So very quiet they lay around
The flower of our british courage manhood,
Who's Life-blood has stained your ground.

Tired and weary, parched ang hugary,
Full nine day's they stood the starin.
Be not discouraged, men of Arhmen!
For fight was not in vain!

So be you, the men of Arhmen!
Through the ages yet to come,
They will speak of it with reverenceco-
what you Arhmen! men have done.
