1945 Germans bombed during afternoon school Comner cars and Skefko ballbearing factories. We, the children had no shelters at this overspill classroom. Miss Boyd orederd the class to take shelter under the desks until the all clear sounded. Ten minuets later air raid warden arrived and took miss Boyd away because she owned a small car. She was needed to help ferry the wounded from the factories to hospital.

Unfortunatly we children were forgoten,the all clear did not sound for a very long time. When we finaly realized we could leave our worried parence were much releived.
