I recall we had been operational and as often occurred there was a lull, not too sure what was happening or about to happen we were all sitting quitely, the radio was crackling away in our head sets, and then on the edge of our frequency, music was seeping through from some commercial radio station, the tune was familiar, the words were foreign, it was "Boom why does my heart go Boom" and as one listened it was so strange, made me think "What am I doing here?" it's hard for me to put in to words my feelings at that time, it was so Unreal.
