My story is about a Wartime exhibition, which a team of pensionersfrom our church in St.Albans put on to show local school children exactly what happended to us and other local people during the war.

We collected together as much memorabila as possible, baked war time cakes, put on show one week's rations, and even a photo of one of our members airraid shelter, she still has to this day in her front garden.

Also we have collected together many stories and have published a book called "Share our Memories" .

We all thoroughly enjoyed doing this exhibition, and sincerely hope we have helped in a small way to let children and teenagers alike to actually know what things were really like in the war.
