No credit is given to the Army & R.A.F members who's war continued for over another year after Japan surrendered. We were shipped to Java where the Indonesians carried on fighting using Japanese weapons.
Britain tried to return the Dutch to power in the country against the wishes of the natives who wanted independance.We finally left in 1946 after many loses.
However, no credit is ever given to
us for this action.
