I was a young nanny in Edgebaston and was 17 or 18. I went to get the baby’s bottle at 6am. I was looking out of the window down Chad Valley (Harbourne) as I looked at St Chads Church it just imploded. We had had a bombing raid the night before and there must have been a bomb with a delay dropped I think.
