it was midnight and a german bomb attack started. the air raid siren went off and i was running to the shelter when a bomb hit my house. the front of the house collapsed and i was trapped in my back room. i suddenly noticed a gap where a window used to be. i crawled out and ran to the anderson shelter. i was very lucky to survive.
