Bombs over Braintree

I was in the cinema in Braintree when the bomb dropped on Barclays Bank. When we came out at the end of the film we all went around to have a look at what had happened.

When I was 15 we lived in Edmonton where we had an Anderson shelter. I used to do my face with cream and roll up my hair before I went down. One day I was really late down and I was grabbed and pulled into the shelter because of the flying shrapnel.
