We were dancing at about 9 o’clock when two London girls came in wearing fur coats. Although we told them where the cloakroom was they didn’t seem to want to use it. First one of the girls and then another got up to talk to the Army, Air force and Navy boys and then they went out. Later the police turned up and nobody was allowed to leave. Eventually when we were allowed to leave we were told that the girls had been arrested. Apparently they didn’t have anything on under their coats!
