This story was submitted to the People's War website by Louise Angell of the CSV Action desk at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Derby on behalf of A.A. Marshall. The authour fully understands the sites terms and conditions.

When I was about 7, I remember going from South Normanton in Derbyshire, to stay at my aunties in Derby and while I was there she took me to see a German Meshersmit that had crashed at Derby. I remember going under the wings and picking some little discs off the wings. I kept them for a long time but they finally got lost.
