My father in law Phillip Colin served in the RAF with AMES 6009 and went to the Island of Simi off Rhodes in 1945. He was with the initial party of RAF staff and was present when the German Commander - Wagner surrendered. My father in law has many stories which I will try and post for him. He is also trying to trace a former wartime colleague - Harry Bennett or Bennetts who was living in Truro when last heard of. Any details would be most gratefully received
