Scrambled egg to me was delightful, not having known any different. However, I upset my mother enormously after she queued to buy the first stock of bananas; I spat it out in disgust ,saying it tasted like soap! One thing I still have repurcussions from was listening for the Doodlebug to cut out, and then hear where it fell, hopefully not on us that time. I had a kitten named Tinker, and he had to be put into the kitchen as his purring drowned out the sound of the Doodlebug.Yes, we had to be that quiet.
