From April 2004 to May 2005
To mark the 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings, a special temporary exhibition which will show the events of the day through the personal experiences of those who took part.
Includes secret briefing documents written by Eisenhower and Montgomery; sabotage equipment issued to SOE agents; water-stained maps and equipment used by soldiers who landed on the beaches; and some of the only surviving photographs taken by Robert Capa of the landings.
