Today is my Dad's birthday. He would have been 90yrs old but unfortunately he died in August 2002.However he did serve in World War Two and landed on Sword Beach on D-Day plus 1 .He was in the Royal Artillery but ended up as a signaller a job he loved and gained a lot of satisfaction from doing. My short story about my Dad is that having been in sealed camps all over south-west England he set off with the rest of the army of course to Tilbury Docks to board H.M.T.S.WORCESTERSHIRE.
