I was very small really just about 2 years old, I remember the field in About October Potato picking there where a lot of people and sounds which I realise now was foreign voices.

POW working on the Land I remember one man gave me a Model Tractor and Trailer he had made from wood, but another spitting at me and my Mother being dreadfully upset.

It is a vivid memory today, I cannot remember what happen afterwards or to the Lovely wooded Tractor and Trailer though I had it for many Years.
