My dad, Sid Bioletti, sent this photograph to his mum:"Typical Parisian bus. 12th May 1947. Taken outside The Cavour Hotel, Rue Lafayette, Paris, France."
My dad, Sid Bioletti, spent 3.5 months in RAF Buc, Versailles, Paris, France in 1947. This was in the latter period of his 3.5 years RAF service.
We thought the photograph might be of interest from an historical point of view.
