My Grandmother, Mrs Ann Mansfield and her three children went down to their air-raid shelter in the evening and went to sleep. In the morning they got up and went out to pick up the milk from the door-step and men in uniform shouted at them "You're still here!" Apparently a bomb had dropped in the night in their street and they had slept through it all. Everyone else had been evacuated from the street and they had somehow been missed and slept through it all!
