Sirens ringing my Mother would get everything ready and take me and my sisters to the Air Raid Shelters. My brothers and Father would stay at home, until one time when the bombs were dropped and they landed near our house. The window from upstairs came crashing down, my brothers and Father all hid under the table. Neighbours of ours were killed by land mines. It was decided that us kids should be sent down to the country. We had a great time as the soldiers were stationed there. Many a good time we had...
