The story is already written and I have it on my computer. How can I get it over to you, please ? It is on floppy disc and hard copy 9 pages long

Message 1 - In which you served

Hello and welcome to WW2 People's War. You may prefer to be known by a name rather than a Researcher number (!), if so click on 'My Details' near the top-right of the screen and you can change your screen name from a number to a name :-)

You say you already have your stories on your own computer. The easiest way would be to open your story on your computer, then go to this page on this site, which is where you can add your personal stories to the WW2 People's War website:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/Write-Personal

If you click on 'Write a personal story' (the orange button), you come to a page where you can add in your story. Simply fill in your name, the other details if you wish, give it a title, then copy your own story and paste it into the large empty box called 'Story'. You can then save this and hey presto! Your story will be added to the site.

Drop me a reply if you are still having problems.
