Carly, Heidi and Jodi and interviewing Morris about his wartime memories
Hello we are Carly, Heidi and Jodi. We were mini journalists for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½. We interviewed Morris because he was in this school in the war.
We asked him a lot of questions and his answers were were fascinating. Like if they were naughty in class they would have been whipped. If they pulled their hand away they would get a extra whip.
If the teachers didn’t have a stick, they would throw a bit of chalk at the pupil's head.
We asked him if they had school uniform he replied "No" Because they did not have a lot of money in the war because of rationing .
Morris left school when he was 16, to work and help his family with money problems.
