My Grandad served in the world war for a long time but he didnt do the killing he was part of some transport unit which was the Land army. He looked after the tanks and other types of transport. You think it might not sound important but he played a very important role on the war. After the war my grandad came back to the newcastle for a very short time and then went to germany with my grandma pregnant with my. Whilst at Germany my mum was born. That means i have some german blood in me. My granddad was then promoted to a captain.
Thats all i know about my grandad in the second world war.
