Hello All,

I am trying to find out about my relative - (Dick Playford) and his time in the war.

He was captured on the 6th April 1944 and held at Stalag XIB. He was liberated soon after. He was in the Normandy Landings by Glider and was in a place called Amfreville in France. I think he was in 337 HAA BTT RA and was a gunner. His home town was Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.

Does anyone recall him or have any information on his regiment?

Thank you all - in more ways than one!
