When I was about the age of 20 the Second World War started, I had rheumatic fever, so I couldn’t fight. Instead I was given the job of being a fire warden.
So one fine morning I was sitting on a hill side in Worcestershire and I saw German bombers flying around Coventry. I sat up at this sight and the next thing I knew there was a red glow over Coventry. I will always remember that as the day Coventry got bombed. Simply because it was. Community college
