I lived in Old Hill. I lived with my Grandparents and worked in Birmingham. I used to make ladies' suspenders. Met my husband, he was in the airforce. We had 2 children, boy and a girl. I’m now 80 years old. We used to go down the cellar when there was any bombing. We lived in a shop so food wasn’t too bad. Not too bad a war really.
