In 1944 as a young R.N. Wireman I volunteered for dangerous and hazardous duty in the Pacific. I was sent to the Frythe (Station Nine S.O.E.) to join the maintenance team working on the Welfreighter, a four man submarine!
I am eighty years of age! Is there anyone out there who remembers or who worked on the Welfreighter and who went out to W.Australia and Morotai,Borneo with her? If so, I would like to hear from you! I was on Morotai when the Japanese surrendered!

Regards,
Bob. Quinn.
