Harlow College is a medium sized Tertiary College in Harlow, Essex - famous as one of the classic postwar New Towns. The postings on the site are from A-level Media Studies students, pursuing a project in the period after their AS Exams, at the end of their first year. They have interviewed both relatives and friends, and also the College's thriving Over-Fifties Club, a general interest group meeting weekly.

At the time of World War Two, the thriving town of Harlow was just a serious of small villages; but from the 1950s onwards it has been moved into by, largely, people from North-East London.

- Peter Philpott, Programme Area Leader in Media
