I should like to find out more about the convoy of ships which came over to the UK in March 1944. Why did it take so long to cross? -3 weeks I believe-what were the names of the ships? I believe mine was an aircraft carrier called HMS Speaker. Is there anyone else who was on it who has or will contribute to these stories? I wrote a short version of my story but cannot find it and I should like to edit it a bit. Perhaps it might be possible to find out a little more about 'Jack' the seaman who looked after my brother and I who were rather left on our own on the ship which was quite a dangerous place for young children..
