It wasn't until recently, that I came to realise just what my Uncle "Vic" had been through in WW2. Like many, I only really appreciate the sacrifices he made, now that I am a little older myself. Unfortunately, Uncle Vic died in 1999. To those of you who still have living relatives who experienced war, take time to listen to their stories, before their memories are lost forever.
